My love for drawing is apparent in my work; it is how I start everything. When I paint with watercolors, I glaze the paints, this technique allows me to layer and blend the colors. Creating a realistic, three dimensional painting, that has depth. Then to finish the painting, I will usually break free by pouring or spraying the paint. This technique allows the paint to go where the water takes it. Watercolors are always wild and fun to use. The iris painting is a good example of this process.
